Following up the 3rd night of the "Rock A Little" Tour I shared a few days ago, here is the 4th night of the tour. As with the Dallas show this is my first digital transfer of the master tapes and should replace any circulating versions from XX generation.

On this night I was taping from the 4th row and this created a minor issue early on, the levels were likely still set from the Dallas show the night before and I couldn't adjust them until about a minute and a half into Outside The Rain due to the nearness of security. Taping much closer to the stage this caused Gold Dust Woman and the first minute or so of Outside The Rain the be recorded a bit hot. Don't expect major distortion as it was just a touch too high and if the whole show was recorded this way it would still be highly listenable. Fortunately, I was able to get to the levels and make the needed adjustment. Always challenging taping that close to the stage with 2 foot long mics and the Marantz deck which is NOT a pocket size deck.

As for the show, I think the performance was better and not as loose as the night before which I thought was a touch sloppy. The pacing was much better and the banter seemed a little more naturalall in all she seemed less nervous than in Dallas.
