The Pretenders were the opening band.

The Good: A really good performance overall. I lost track of her solo career a long time ago, but I was getting the impression that a lot of what she played was originally written a long time ago but never released until much later. Crying In The Night was a nice treat I haven't heard since I lost ownership of my Buckingham Nicks cassette. Chrissie Hynde Came out and Joined in on Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.

The Bad: Not the best sounding...not the worst. To start with the Pepsi Center sucks for concerts. The sound bounces off everything. Add to the mix that our seats were on the side, halfway to the back of the arena, in the freakin' nosebleed seats. Basically about 10 rows from the roof. The pictures I included tell it all. And when you thought it couldn't possibly get any worse, it turns out that the row in front of us was occupied by the "Sisterhood Of Middle-age Drunken Whores". They pretty much spent the whole show drinking (of course), dancing, talking, yelling, face-f*ck-booking, taking "selfies" and the showing them to each other and yapping on about those, and basically annoying the crap out of myself, Miss Notsochubby D, and most of the other people in the immediate area.

I make no claims at being an expert taper. I can only try to improve as I go, or in this case try to get better seats next time. Finding out about the show and getting tickets early on rather than 2 weeks before usually helps fix THAT problem, but since I didn't pay for the tickets I'm not complaining. Now......enough of my pointless ranting. Enjoy.
