This show could be called “Don’t Mess With Stevie, 1990” as it is one of at least 3 shows I know of where SRV tells the audience to “beat the shit” out of anyone throwing stuff, then “give me my turn!” Stevie was, after all, from Texas!

There were some unexplained silent gaps in the tape during Riviera. First, there is a cut from a tape flip, although I am not 100% certain it was cut before this copy was dubbed. Then there was about 5 minutes of silence, followed by the song taking up essentially where it left off. Very odd. I tried to splice them together, but my unactivated trial version of a program made a voice over, so I just had to leave it as 3 separate tracks, which include all the material on my tape. Sorry! 

PERFORMANCE: Although not an essential show,this show is worth having, as is every 1990 show from this tour with decent sound. The tape starts out a bit rougher soundwise, then clears up nicely. Tightrope and Mary.. both kick total ass. Wall of Denial is brilliant.  Of course, there are more great moments, but those bear mentioning as great performances.
