Notes from Tim McKenzie:

1) I was there. This is an under-circulated B/B+ recording of SRV from the 1984 “Couldn’t Stand The Weather” tour. Duke Tumatoe and the Power Trio opened.

2) I received my CDs in a 2006 trade straight off a first-generation cassette. At the time, the trader said they had no further information about the original taper’s equipment, and that when they had later tried to contact the taper in the hope of obtaining a CD copy of the master cassette, the taper’s email address was no longer valid, so there was no way of tracking them down. Barring the master tape some-how coming into circulation, this first generation copy may be as close as we’ll ever get.

Enjoy!
