I'm not sure if this show is incomplete, you's have to ask
the audioarchivist. To all of you out there who have rare
uncirculated SRV concerts please post them. It's unfortunate when others miss out on really great concerts
beacause the person who has the tape thinks it sounds really bad, please all of you out there let the listener
decide that for themselves. Like "Beauty is in the Eye the Beholder" "Sound Quality is in the Ears of the Listener"
Guys don't you think this show(5/4/89)sounds pretty good?
This show IMHO sounds like an 8.5/10 to me.
The 12/5/89 Orpheum Theatre, Vancouver, British Columbia. he mentions in the quote has to another good one, it's part of the Fire and Fury Tour.
Here's a quote from audioarchivist
"I have something on tape also from the (was it may 89 in Vancouver?) other show I did go to early in the tour. I missed the first 30 mins with a mic fault, and another taper I know only managed to tape the first part of the show. Between both of us i think the full show is there, but again, it doesn't sound much better than that distorted Dec 5 89 show...
SRV Vancouver December 5, 1989 Orpheum Theatre (not Dec 6 as you have listed)
I didn't go to this show (I'd seen him a few months earlier in Vancouver in the same place) it was my birthday and I was just down the road, so I remember the day well. I have a pretty bad unknown generation copy of this show on cassette. I hope a better copy than what i have surfaces, because I don't want to hear those tapes again - they do sound bad!

This is for all of you SRV fans out there! Enjoy!
P.S. I literally just got this show today!
