Notes
------------------------------------

- boosted entire file by 1.5 dB
- there was a much longer gap between conan's intro and the start of the show, but i've blended the two to appear seamless here.
- a few seconds of stevie's keytar intro are missing due to a momentary power loss on my R-09
- the sound folks had trouble getting the female vocalist's wireless mic working properly during the duet in "A Time 2 Love," so it's not a problem with the recording

Thoughts

absolutely magical set from the legendary mr. wonder. i'd never seen him live before, and even though this was shorter (by a long shot) than most bonnaroo headlining sets, it felt like just perfect in terms of song selection, length and overall good vibes. rumor has it they flashed the original setlist on the big screens at one point before the show (i missed it) and then stevie threw that out the window as he navigated the song selection by inner vision .

highlights were a powerful and timely "Living for the City," funky run-throughs of "Master Blaster (Jammin')," "Higher Ground," and "Superstition," as well as a really nice "A Time 2 Love" to close the main set—with ethnic musicians and drummers augmenting stevie's crack band.

i had my usual spot right in the corner of the rails in front of the soundboard, just left of the walkway to the stage, and the sound was near perfect. hopefully that comes through in the recording.
