THE RAW TAPES VOL. 56
---
Rec. Info:
unknown lineaged audience recording, most likely captured from the singer's mic (to my ears), or onstage mic.
This cassette (TDK SA90) -> playback on Harman Kardon CD491 -> Audio recorder (WAV 16/44) -> Audacity (edit/remaster) -> WAV 16/44 -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME ->
YOUR EARS AND MIND...turned away from the sun on a misty planet blue...
Some minor warbles from old tape (transfer?) on first track, some distortion on the vocals during the next three songs, and during the electric set, due to my guess,
the electric guitar is very low in the mix. So, what's good on this? It's the crystal clean and fine voice. And that's what's matters here.

No chance I've known their name, no chance I've ever heard a single note before. No chance to dump this. This is just great music, with a female singer, who's right up
there with the best of Britannia's folk glory. But it's not only the "dark side of the folk", the electric set features some weird musical action as well. What simply stands
out is the ripped down version of Joy Division's "Love will tear us apart", which gave me some goosebumps... Enjoy this. Hope you like it. SB.
