The Lostbrook Strawbs Collection Volume 12

"Who would have believed it? Two reunions in the same night." Dave Cousins was referring to the opening act, The New St. George reunion, and more significantly for those gathered at the Birchmere, to the return of the Strawbs "Hero and Heroine" line-up. The performance was outstanding and the setlist was full of surprises. There were several songs the band had never played on stage before as well as two new songs from the soon to be released "Deja Fou." The only thing missing was the larger stage that such an event commanded, something the Strawbs would achieve later that month headlining NEARFEST.
