The Lostbrook Strawbs Collection Volume 13 - Series Finale

We've reached the end of the series and the Strawbs have provided an outstanding performance for the occasion. Once again, the setlist was filled with surprises and rarities. "Lemon Pie" and "Hard Hard Winter" were true delights, and we never expected "The Antique Suite." It was last played, according to Dave Cousins, "when Rick Wakeman was still all over the keyboards like a rash." Although they had been recently performed at York Hill Farm, (see LBTS Vol 99) "Midnight Sun" and two new songs, "Cold Steel," and "If" were welcome additions to the set. Dave Cousins topped off the evening with some entertaining stories, the funniest being the story of the "wild Norwegians."

I hope you enjoyed the series. Thanks to CQ and Eric for their usual hard work and dedication.
