I lent a friend my Tandy cassette recorder specifically to record the support band Galaxie 500 (he didn't) as I couldn't make the gig but he did record the Sundays.

From memory, he used the cassette tape to tape deck on his stereo to make a copy of the original cassette (which I think he kept and I got the copy) - and it's the copy I used

to do this rip. No mastering after the transfer, decided to leave it exactly as it is.

I'm pretty sure I gave someone MP3's of this recording many years ago, can't remember who and what I used to transfer, was probably onto mini disc.

Here then at last is a digital rip of the Sundays, playing to a rowdy drunk student crowd in Glasgow, 24 years after the event (wow!)

Listen out for the drunken steamer heckling the band near the end, demanding they bring back Galaxie 500 - more funny than annoying, and it adds to the build up of an absolutely

blistering Can't Be Sure as the last track.
