I've heard and collected a lot of Susan Tedeschi when she started hitting the larger venues around 1998.

I had never found any live material from Tedeschi prior to 1998. I wasn't sure if any existed. (until this week..)

I've been offered a copy of Susan and her band, recorded in a small club through the board.

This is the earliest live recording I've heard so far. Doing some very genuine versions of classic blues songs.

Along with Adrienne Hayes on guitar, this turns out to be a very entertaining 2 sets worth of good blues music.

Recording Notes:

The band is mixed well, though Susan's vocals were a little loud and clipped when she really sings loudly.

The levels on the discs were a little low. I amplified the volume +4db.

By the end of set 2 the tape appears to run out. It's probably only missing a few minutes

I made my best attempt at the set list. A couple song titles stumped me.

Susan fans and blues fans in general should grab up a copy of this. You most likely have never heard this one.

Thanks goes to in2blues for sending this over my way to be flac'd and shared for the first time.
