comments:
a show from the 1st UK tour with the Talking Heads.
also the 1st year with Jerry Harrison in the band.
it includes a couple of previews from their not yet released
1978 album, "more songs about buildings and food"
with their 1st big hit "take me to the river", and "I'm not in love".
the rest is from their debut album "Talking Heads 77"
this is very close to their full set. there is
a brief interruption in the recording near the end of TMTTR.
recorded with an auto levelling average quality
portable stereo cassette recorder in a small club venue
in front of what sounds like about 25 people, at most.
quite listenable for an audience recording of this era.
especially considering the left channel was very low
and the right side saturated a little in the loudest parts
of the source recording.
after level balancing, that is not that noticable any more.
