Comments: This recording captures Tedeschi Trucks Band in their second of four nights at Chicago Theater, at the beginning of their 2018 tour promoting their current album "Signs." As with the previous night, a fairly conservative setlist, but nonetheless an entertaining mix of covers and originals. I didn't attend this one, but it appears a little more high-energy than the previous night (maybe due to the absence of the 15-minute "Idle Wind") and is a bit longer.
The recording itself is very good -- TallTaper took advantage of the repeaters located directly in front of the section, so the result is a more immediate-sounding recording (with better high-end) than you would normally expect this far back. The vocals and high-end are really well represented and the overall mix is great. There is a slight bit of crowd noise between tracks, but it is a non-factor in terms of one's enjoyment of the recording.
Many thanks to TallTaper for taping and sharing. I was just the mule who EQ'd and tracked it. Mp3 samples are included in the comments.
