‘The 13th Dream of Dr. Sardonicus, a Fruits de Mer Festival of Psychedelia’ was a festival that took place in Aberteifi/Cardigan, Cymru/Wales, on Friday 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August.
I decided to take a week holiday from my tourist-guide job to attend the festival. And I absolutely didn’t regret it: there were a lot of fine bands, in a nice small venue (The Castle Cafe and Cellar Bar, with an extra stage at the Riverside-Pizza Tipi on Sunday the 9th), the weather and the atmosphere were great and I met a lot of nice people.
I also managed to record all but two of the gigs, and will upload most of them in the course of time.
This is the ninth one I’m uploading, The Telephones. This is one of the two gigs I didn’t record (in this case because I had to pick up a package that was brought by Greg Curvey of TLoEH, and because I really needed to eat something), so it’s a recording made by one of the other ‘tapers’ present, who sent his recording to me and gave permission to share it here.
I’ll include pictures of the festival poster, the ticket and the running order; no pics of the band this time, because I didn’t attend the gig.
