comments:
this is a complete recording. both tape flips were between songs and
nothing was missed there. it includes all the radio announcer commentary
and there are no problems with the sound at all. It's a clean FM master
tape with no copy or transferring lineage of any kind in it except the
master analog recording and the transfer from it > WAV > flac.
there was just one show scheduled at first, but this second one
was added by popular demand. The Paradise only holds some 600+ or so people
when packed, as it was for these shows. this is a band that had previously
played at the Boston Tea Party, Music Hall and Boston Garden, so a small
club engagement was very appreciated by many of their fans. they were
warmly recieved for these shows and responded with an inspired almost
2 hour late show. the cassettes haven't been played much at all before
being digitized so they still sound like it was recorded last week, even
though it will be 21 years ago when this recording is posted for the 1st time.
