Texas and Tennessee: A Musical Affair [video recording]
1982-04-05
Austin, TX
(with some portions from Nashville, TN)

Description from a 1991 article about this show:
The talents of a host of country music greats are blended into a 90-minute special designed
to capture the mutual admiration of two great states in "Texas and Tennessee ... a Musical Affair"

Hosted by Jerry Reed, the show includes segments by Mickey Gilley, Tanya Tucker, Johnny Duncan, Kris Kristofferson,
Ernest Tubb, and Asleep at the Wheel with lead singer Ray Benson.

The location of the show moves from The Double Eagle, a good ole honky tonk in Austin, Tex., to the Grand Ole Opry House
in Nashville, the Austin Opera House and a bench in front of the fort in San Antonio, where Jimmy Dean gives Reed a down-home
lesson about the Alamo.

I got these DVDs already made, so lineage is unknown. They appear to be digital rips of TV broadcasts from RFD-TV.
They do not appear to have ever been on VHS.

DVDs ripped with DVD Decrypter.
Excellent quality but with commercials included.
The Country Hall Of Fame inventory states they have this show, but that it has audio issues.
This copy does not.
