Notes:

This was the reformed Band's fourth ever performance and, as far as I am aware, the earliest recording of the reformed Band.

It was an outdoor concert on a rainy night in Toronto. There is a lot of shouting to put down umberellas when the rain stops.

Early on, the Band are clearly having some sound problems on stage. There is some significant feedback causing "It Makes No Difference" to be restarted.

This is a long show for The Band (2 hours 4 minuites). They are clearly still working out what would become the standard set list for the tour. Unusually, "Blaze of Glory" is the second song in rather than at the end. There is no "Chest Fever". "Short Fat Fanny" & "When I Get My Rewards" don't appear on any other 1983 recordings.

This recording begins with "Rag Mama Rag" which is not listed on The Band Tape Archive for this show.

This is a good quality recording audience recording of an outdoor show.

Cash Box review of the show is included.
