Total Time ::: 38:27

::: Somewhat distorted but listenable AUD. Check samples to see if you can DIG IT or not.
::: Warts: Some inherent distortion from the master (over-saturated or...). I didn't do my crazy mastering thing, so you pretty much got a straight transfer here. Some late starts from taper shutting off recorder between songs.

Recording Information ::: unknown stereo recording equipment -> master cassette -> 1st generation cassette-> 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette, Dolby B on.

Playback 2013-11-02 ::: 2nd generation Maxell XLII-90 cassette on Nakamichi 680ZX cassette deck, Dolby B on, azimuth & speed adjusted (pitched!) for individual recording, heads cleaned & demagnetized -> Sony Linear PCM Recorder PCM-M10 (LPCM 44.10kHz/16bit WAV files) -> computer -> Audacity (normalisation to remove DC offset, channel/phase alignment, fades, volume adjustments, NO equalisation) -> CD Wave (track splits) -> flacs (Trader's Little Helper) -> yr ears. First uploaded week of 2013-11-16.

Line-up (unconfirmed) ::: Steve Crabtree - guitar, keyboards, vocals // Larry Klein - guitar, vocals // Bob Wier - bass, vocals // Roy McDonald - drums, percussion.

Nothing here ever commercially released to my knowledge. If I'm wrong, please advise & I'll take the offending trax offline.

CoolSonics 280 ::: Thanks to the original taper & traders! ::: Corrections welcome ::: You love The Things. The Things are what you love. You love the Beatles. The Beatles love you. The Things love the Beatles. The Beatles never heard of The Things but you need The Things doing the Beatles. Enjoy if it's your Thing.
