Well, I'm finally getting around to digitizing my 700+ cassettes (at my wife's insistence--she wants them out of the house), so I'm going to start posting some goodies here. I taped many a show in the Toronto area from the late '80's to the late '90's, and also recorded a lot of radio broadcasts, mostly from CFNY, 102.1 in Toronto. Hope you stumble across something you like, or even a show you were at!
They Might Be Giants--Danforth Music Hall, Toronto, Canada, Nov. 5, 1994
This one is a bit of an anomoly, as I wasn't at this show. My girlfriend at the time was a huge TMBG fan, so much so that we had driven down to New Jersey to see them a few weeks earlier (those tapes to follow). I opted not to see them this time, but she went and borrowed my tape deck. It was her first (and only) time using it, so she only managed to get half the show somehow. So, it is incomplete, and sound quality is OK but not great for a Sony Walkman. Good for completists, or someone who was there.
Lineage: Master>M Audio sound card>wav>flac. Track splitting in CDWave.
