Hello Everyone
Beats me why TMBG hasn't seen wider popularity. They have a strong following at least for all of the Wolf Den shows I've been to and this night was no exception. An added treat was the fact that the majority of the evening's selections were from their album Lincoln, admittedly the only TMBG album I own. I think my attraction to this band is the obtuse approach to the lyrics. I figure if you could put an Escher or Dali print to music, this is what it would sound like.
Once again I was able to position myself in the sweet spot and the mix was clear and loud. The usual bar noise is present but primarily only between tracks and during quieter passages but all in all an excellent recording under the circumstances.
Enjoy
