Tice & Evans, 2001-09-02, Live at the Rum and Raisin
Recorded at The Rum & Raisin, The Gymea Hotel, Sydney, NSW, Australia
Edited and Mastered for CD by John Bee
Dave Tice, vocalist for Buffalo and also The Count Bishops, together with Mark Evans, who played bass on the early AC/DC albums (through to Let There Be Rock), playing an acoustic blues set at The Gymea Hotel in Sydney. This disc was originally offered for sale by the duo at their gigs, they have now consented to its distribution for free among the file sharing communities. The original copyright remains with Dave and Mark, which means you can do anything you like, provided you don't sell it or include it as part of your own original work. Share it, play it on radio, give it away, whatever.
If you see Dave and Mark at a gig, let them know that you downloaded this set from here, I know they'll be thrilled to find out how far it has spread.
Cover art for this package has been created by myself from the material Dave sent me. This is different to the cover used when this package was offered for sale. I've also included a PDF version of the Tice & Evans biography that they send out. If you want to find out more about the duo before sampling their music, feel free to download just that document first. It won't take long. If you just want to dive straight in for some great acoustic blues, then you won't be disappointed.
The lineage looks a bit strange, but only because I know the sort of steps that this recording went through between the mics in use at the venue and when it was blown on to disc to make my copy. I've done nothing more than extract to PC and convert to FLAC.
Lineage.
