This show first appeared in 2008 with unknown lineage. This version is directly from the Sony D100 DAT Master > CDR > .wav. I do not have the first posting to compare but I'm guessing some here may not have it and others will appreciate the known lineage version. It was previously described as very good. I would describe this, after mastering, as excellent, it has also been de-clicked and channel aligned (the audience is not a factor being very quiet throughout the show).

Tinariwen is a Tuareg group that performs a guitar-centric branch of Malian music that, to the untrained ear, is reminiscent of Ali Farka Tour�'s, but is far more rock-oriented and percussive. All of the band's musicians originate from the southern Sahara; the group's name, meaning "empty places," is a reflection of their land of origin....allmusic.com

Take blues from the delta and combine it with Malian music from the Sahara and you have Tinariwen.

The show was put on in memory of Ali Farka Tour� who had passed away two months before in Mali. Robert Plant and Strange Sensation perform on the last four songs with Robert providing vocals on "Win My Train Fare Home" and playing guitar only on the last three songs. Apparently he was under the weather but still wanted to perform.
