Tino Gonzales 2.5.91, Ithaca, NY The Haunt.
This was my first time seeing Tino. I almost didn't go. Was visiting friends and was told some guy who style of playing was across between S.R. Vaughan and C. Santana was playing across town. He ended up being one hell of a nice guy, but more importantly one hell of a guitar player. Very little crowd noise, mics. where up high plus he rarely stopped between songs, one song went right into the next. This recording is from the Master tapes the deck (SonyD-3) and mics.(?) were borrowed. If there's a intrest I'll see if I can dig out some more Tino. I did the best I could with song titles.
