Todd's entry in the NAB-list says SBD recordings made after November 13, 2009 are not allowed.
Todd Snider's policy does allow for the sharing of audience recordings of shows that are made available by the artist via official downloads.
The official downloads themselves are prohibited from being shared!

The reason is Todd's people record many (not all) shows, so that people can buy them after the
show or from Todd's on line shop.
Consequently no soundboard patches would be given to tapers.

The soundboard portion of this recording was not recorded by Todd's people, but by Joshua.
In fact Todd's people didn't record this show at all. He was part of a festival and his people were not interested
in selling this show.
Because of that reason Joshua was allowed to record from the soundboard. So what you have here
is a very special recording.

The mods have given kind permission to make an exception on the NAB rule for this recording.
This also proves they are not as rigid as some Dime members believe them to be.
