Well it was off to The Borderline again on a not too bad evening for February actually. Had a day working in London so stayed in the office late and then strolled up towards Charing X Rd. Met up with my daughter somewhere en route, near Leicester Square. Stopped for a bite to eat and headed to the venue, stopping off in Foyles famous bookshop for a leisurely browse to see what titles I could get cheaper elsewhere!!!

And so in to The Borderline. Not my favourite venue by a long shot. Wrong shape, wrong layout, noisy air-con (although slightly improved in recent years), noisy bar and constantly moving audience. Everything anyone needs is always somewhere else so that makes for constant traffic!!

Although I recorded both sets I haven't included Danni Nichols support slot in this one, much as I like her. the audience were quite noisy and chatty during her setr which was a little quiet. If there is demand (pm me) I might make the effort to sort it and post it.

Todd's set has come out really well considering. Located at the back, away from the main air-con vents, in front of the soundboard. The audience was extremely enthusiastic for Todd so the applause between songs was extremely loud, and I haven't taken this down at all, as in a number of instances Todd was still playing, singing, and/or talking through it.
So - a pretty darn good outcome overall I'd say.

The worst part of the evening at this venue is always the trip home - by the time I got to Victoria to wait an hour for my train - my daughter was back in her flat with a mug of cocoa!!!

Here's the details, followed by the flac fingerprint.
Enjoy!!!
