Tom Ibarra Group (newly awarded by Jazz Rising Stars), Jazz in Marciac festival-France, off scene, 30 july 2017, SM aud master

I uploaded a show from this gifted young man (17 years old at this show) some months ago (Jazz 360 Festival on last 10 june) and he got a good reception here for an unknown musician.
This one was recorded in Marciac and it was one of the last concert with this line up (a bit sad, i really liked the bass player).
A few days later, Tom went in studio with the drummer and 3 other partners to record a second album (out this month).
Recently, he received the Rising Stars Jazz Award with a main effect : the band will play majors festivals through Europe next summer.

Recorded from 2d row facing left speakers with :
2 x DPA 4099 supercard mics - DAD6001 - Zoom H5 (48/24), phantom on.
Downsampled 44/16 wav to PC, Audacity (tracks, volume adjustments, just a bit of eq), FLAC 8 (TLH).

Excellent sound (improvement after the first number).
