Yet again Glasgow was spoiled with an amazing performance which mixed the old classics, intimate family songs and excellent new ones.
And there was even a wee short shelf life song in there too, plus a contempary rewrite of an oldie.
Robin Bullock proved an excellent foil for Tom, colouring the songs with his beautiful playing and backing vocals. I have to say that I
can't decide between Jez Luton and Robin Bullock as a partner to Tom. I say bring them both next time.
I'm happy with the sound, the Royal Concert Hall is a big room and we were on the left hand side, about half way down the hall. The
recording was fairly quiet so I have amplified it and therefore had to do some cutting of levels on the applause sections.
