Notes:
This is a very rare stereo soundboard recording of the legendary duo Gibson & Camp. Bob Gibson and Bob Camp first began to perform together at the Gate of Horn in 1960. Their live album "Gibson & Camp at the Gate of Horn" influenced a generation of musicians.
By the time this concert was held, the duo has just released a new reunion album, Homemade Music, and this concert was to promote that album. 7 out of the 16 songs in this set are from the new album. But there are some old favorites as well.
Unfortunately, I don't know the exact date and venue - I can't even recall where I got this concert. But it's really a joy to hear, especially the encore with Tom Paxton is a real rare treat. It's not easy to find recordings of a trio like "Gibson, Camp & Paxton"...
According to the stage banter, the show opener was Tom Paxton. I can't find a recording of Tom's solo set, though.
Do not sell this recording.
