Notes:

This is one of the shows from 60's WNYC radio series "The World of Folk Music", hosted by Oscar Brand. Each show would include a musical guest, and Tom Paxton was the guest at this show. According to the Internet, Tom was at least on Oscar's show twice - I guess the actual number is much more than that, but this is the only one I have that features Tom.

Oscar's show on WNYC-AM debuted in December 1945, and lasted for more than 70 years, making him the Guinness Book's World Record holder for radio longevity. He was awarded the Peabody Award twice.

For mp3 samples from this show and a bunch of other Tom Paxton shows, please visit my Tom Paxton setlist page at http://ddpro.ucoz.com/setlists/tompaxton/. The setlists of all Tom Paxton live recordings I know will all be posted there, along with a 90-second sample for each recording.
