After a bit of a hiatus we return to the DS Archives with Volume 49 and a release that appears to be completely uncirculated or at least under-circulated.
Tom Petty was climbing the charts and touring in support of the excellent 1979 release "Damn The Torpedoes". This show took place just over 3 weeks after the record release and clearly the Detroit audience had gotten very familiar with the new songs.
This one comes from the DS Archives and fortunately one that Dan had transferred to CD so when the basement flood happened, this show was spared.
Quality is not top tier but it is very listenable and a great show...samples provided.
Thanks as always to Goody dialing in the pitch week after week, show after show.
And thanks to Dan for trusting me to deliver what was left of his archives to a wider audience to enjoy years to come.
