Tony Joe was in Austin for the SXSW thing - South by Southwest 2018. Sam's Town Point is a little roadhouse place 15 miles or so south of downtown Austin, in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There were a bunch of bands that day. Tony Joe came on after a band called the Texas Gentleman warmed things up and he sat in with them. Charlie Sexton sat in too, grinning and crouching behind Tony Joe trying his best to be unobtrusive.
