FRANK can find no indication that anything from the American Music Shop television program has been released on either CD or DVD. This is a collection of the audio of three shows he received in a trade some time ago.

There is maddeningly little information about this wonderful TNN show of the early 1990's. (There is an online music store called "American Music Shop," which doesn't surprise FRANK, but didn't help with any information about the TNN television show.)

TVGuide (http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/american-music-shop/cast/199737) tells us that the show premiered on March 31, 1990, on TNN and says of a "premise" of the show that it was An early-'90s Saturday night country-music series whose memorable collaborations included Emmylou Harris dueting with rising star Trisha Yearwood; Dwight Yoakam jamming with legendary bluegrass picker Ralph Stanley; and Irish supergroup the Chieftains performing with Ricky Skaggs and Chet Atkins. The same site tells us that there were 65 episodes, but those episodes are not dated or numbered.

http://couchville.com/show/american-music-shop/episodes has a list of significantly more shows and FRANK was able to (maybe) match two of the three shows. It ain't easy (and FRANK isn't overly confident) because, for example, John Hartford did numerous appearances but Vassar isn't credited once; there's one show of Hillman, Pedersen, The Texas Tornados and Holly Dunn and another where the artists are credited as Hillman, Pedersen, The Texas Tornados, Holly Dunn and Tony Rice; but Tony Rice is a member of the American Music Shop band.

Oh, and with the exception of the possibility mentioned above, this has not been on tracker before.
