Notes: Afternoon show. AKUS Opened. Tony mentioned Mechanics Hall as being
his favorite venue America to play in. Sources in the data base list this
show as AUD, DSBD and Matrix. After a close listen it seems most likely to
be a Matrix recorded by the band. It is mentioned by Jimmy that the band
was recording the show, this must be the tape. This is fantastic recording.
There is a cut during Sally Goodin that was faded out and crossfaded with
the crowd at the end. This was in the 43rd minute of the first set which
may lead one to believe that the master was a cassette. There is no hiss
in the recording; the master tape must have been a DAT.
