Compilation of Townes van Zandt songs as live performed by others.


As one of the curators of the Townes van Zandt as done by others lists I will upload
an compilation of only live covered Townes songs.

In the collection are at the moment(januari-2012) round 5550 items.
It's absolut non commerciel and meant as the building of a monument for Townes.
You can find the list of covers on the beautiful Blue Sky Homepage runned by Len Coop.

It's never Townes but you all know how many great artists have used his songs.
On the Compilation are 40 different songs and mostly different performers.
Sometimes is a performer co-performer on another song.
I didn't take always the''bigest''artists for the flacs.
The quality of some tracks is not always of the highest level,but sometimes are
covers special done by a special performer and difficult to find.
