"Folk rock band 'Trembling Bells' were formed in 2008 by drummer and chief songwriter
Alex Neilson. They are Alex Neilson, Lavinia Blackwall (keyboard, guitar, vocal), Michael
Hastings (guitar, vocal) and Simon Shaw (bass guitar, vocal).Having received favourable
comparisons to folk rock pioneers The 'Incredible String Band' and Richard Thompson. Trembling
Bells were invited to participate in an 'Incredible String Band' tribute concert in June 2009.
Their debut album 'Carbeth' was released in 2009. This was followed in April with the release
