This is a wonderful Trilok Gurtu show that was shared here by Lewojazz in 2010. It hasn't run since that time, so here's another of my Gurtu discs that I'm transferring to HD/SSD storage.
It's a bit frustrating that there are no stage announcements included to clue us in to what's happening at any particular point on the stage. It appears that this was Trilok's night to showcase his excellent band from that time as well as bringing up his long term "boss" Jan Garbarek for a few numbers, showcasing some African friends (and songs) from his Farakala collaboration with Ali Keita, and also paying homage to his setting through a few flamenco flavored songs. Definite assistance is needed with titles, and possibly with corrections in a few instances where I'd tried to provide them.
Once again, this is certainly World Music flavored Jazz, so categorizing the share as it's upped is a bit tough. That said, I'm nodding in the direction of Jazz as I bring this back.
Huge thanks to Lewojazz for this and so many more wonderful things that he's shared here. His source/lineage info from 2010 has been pasted below from the dimebot archive:
