Here's a nice set by Truth & Salvage Co., the first band signed to The Black Crowes' Silver Arrow record label, celebrating on the night of their first CD release. It's actually pretty easy to hear why these guys ended up on said record label and with Chris Robinson producing - lot's of influences evident that align with the Crowes musical philosophy. Imagine The Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd working on a school project together with the subject of Gram Parsons and the 70's California sound and you're pretty much there. Very loose and festive atmosphere at this show. The Grey Eagle is an incredibly intimite venue and one where some of the members of Truth & Salvage Co. cut their teeth in other bands during their Asheville heyday. The fact they came here to celebrate the release of their first CD says a lot. They played the new record in it's entirety along with eight other songs. Y'all enjoy!
