This is the ENTIRE concert. As far as I know, this concert is uncirculated. I attended and recorded this show at Davis Park and it was great. I don't know what the majority of the people who were there were doing there as it seems that 95% of them talked through the entire fucking performance. Honest to God, a legendary band comes to a podunk-ass town that is starved for quality entertainment and almost all of these assholes are talking about their cars/jobs/kids/mental problems/ailments etc. Stay the hell home and talk to the wall. In case you're wondering, On The Waterfront is a city festival in Rockford, IL which is held every Labor Day weekend. Many bands perform on many different stages & it's a good chance to view many diverse musical genres. This Tubes show was one of those performances. The recording itself is very clear with no hiss & no distortion. Even though there is a constant low-level background murmur of chattering assholes, the music drowns it out and the recording is so clear that I thought it deserved a straight excellent. The vocals & instruments are very clear and the taper was never very far away from the stage. I started at the middle of the crowd and slowly worked my way forward to avoid loudmouth assholes. The sound slowly changes as the concert goes on and I get closer to the front of the stage. It gets very trebly here but is still excellent. There is a tape flip in Track 11 and a tape switch at either Track 17 or 18. These have been welded seamlessly but if you listen closely, you'll hear the music jump in those places. There is no artwork. The show fits on 2 74 min. CDs. Fee's onstage banter between songs is hilarious and well worth the price of admission. This is a great concert by a great band and will be adored by Tubes fans everywhere. WE NEED MORE TUBES MUSIC ON THE DIME. Well, that's about all that I have to say, so let's wrap this up... Please don't convert this to mp3 or other lossy formats. Please don't sell or buy this recording. Trade freely and seed this as long as you can. Let's get more Tubes recordings on the Dime. Here are a few suggestions: reseeds of all of the Glass House (?) recordings (a series), liberated bootlegs like Darted In My Own Armchair and a Holy Grail request: Tubes, Shank Hall, Milwaukee, WI 2000/ November 2 thru 4 (exact date unknown). I had to travel far away the next day & it was impossible for me to attend the show. I'm POSITIVE that somebody in Milwaukee has this recording. Please post it if you have it. If it does not exist, anything from that time period would be fine. TIA ! That's about all that I can think of to say, so enjoy the show, have fun & don't freak out... jojogunne 3/20/2010
