Recorded by dear friend and taper genius Lars from left side of the stage. Excellent recording...if there wasn't that trouble with the battery box fpr the mics. I've removed a bunch of
clicks here and there, but the mics dried out after the second to final song, the latter is unfortunately crappy white noise. So I left it out of this version. Maybe some other
taper can put up his version of this magical show under the blood-red moon eclipse. Sorry, only a pic and the setlist scan were available to be included here.
BUT DID I TELL YOU THAT THIS SOUNDS REALLY GREAT?


Some statistics about Burg Herzberg 2018:

Attendence: 12000+ people
Ticket fee: 110 in advance last October, then 130. At Gate 155 Euro.
What sucks: An extra of 20 Euro for each vehicle (car, motorhome ect.) at gate.
Catering: Lots of tasty booths with vegan to meaty food. Prices ok, but each a Euro more than last year.
Drinking: A lot of beer booths with all kinds of refrshment, cocktail bars ect. beer prices were also increased to 4 Euro for a cup of catpiss
(that's my opinion about the beer offered there, except for the good dark "Pilgerstoff" neer the main stage. That was fine for 4 Euro)
Toilets: Superb! Nothing to complain. All cleaned up 2-3 times a day. 1000 of 1000 points for that!
Weather: I count: 35-35-25-32-30. Not the lottery numbers, but +C each day. Fucking hot dry and dusty.
Lots of water supply tanks were set up (no drinking water) for refreshment. All ok I think.

Lazing on a bench, belly filled with fine food, swirling the puffy clouds into the still hot air pausing from taper duties and expecting a marvellous Motorpsycho show later on the
main stage. Could there be anything better? Yes, it was to be. The strangest of things mostly occur to you when you don't expect such.
How about a weird looking guy starting clinging a bell right besides you, then walking up to the stage, entering it and starting a concert? Puzzled? Yes, of course. I knew that this
band would be something "special" but I did not expect such a thing. When the band joined in, you might feel like at an early Jethro Tull concert, but those vocals? Oh, norwegian
language, of course. Not that I did understand too much at all, but at the introduction to the second song, one of the guys spoke perfect (and I mean it "perfect"!) german. Woah.
It got even weirder when they switched the norwegian vocals into german language (Fernsehn). And - oh - I forgot - breath-taking great music. I loved every single moment until I had to
leave for a good spot for the MP show after maybe 70 minutes. Why did they get that slot? Most likely to the unique blood-red moon eclipse during their "pagan ritual music". Vikings!
For those who know me know as well - my forever fave Prog-Band was/is/will be - Van Der Graaf Generator. And this band comes damn close...SB. TUSEN TAKK!!!!!!!
