This was the only Womad festival held at this site , I think it was deemed too far away from the city as to get a decent crowd the organisers arranged a fleet of busses to the event, which must have eroded into the profits. There was a fairly good sized and very enthusiastic crowd , but it was cold,darned cold.
Earlier I saw the Liberal Foreign minister Alexander Downer there earlier on looking as miserable as sin ( the festival was held in his electorate )
