QUALITY:
Master Audience recording from front right hand stalls, in front of RH speakers. I think it's a pretty good recording really - maybe a bit quiet .. so just use the volume knob. A? Only a few coughs .. even applause is not too bad. All in all a nice show.

COMMENT:
Well - the wee man seemed to have lots of energy tonight...seemed to be in pretty good form.. maybe just that he appears to have lost a bit of weight? (the suite didn't seem so tight) ... or of having females on stage in the 9-piece band? (reinforcing my view that this is the decisive affect on the performance).
Much tighter than the Torquay show in August 2006... like watching a slick professional performance unfold. Very nice version of "I Can't Stop Loving You". And he played sax, mouthorgan - and even piano on one track. Even regularly saying "thank you" during the applause! Now if he could just occasionally talk & engage with the audience... And yes - he was even talking to the organ player and ned - and jesting with crawford & the singers...
