Here is the sixth volume of Loose Ends. None of these songs have ever been commercially released, and to my knowledge nothing from the Loose Ends program has ever had a commercial release. It`s an arts program thats been running 20 years or so and goes out live featuring guests - Poets, Authors, Actors, Musicians, Wits, and Raconteurs. Ned Sherrin, who hosted the programme for many years died recently. His programme is a great legacy of talent in these dial a dancing pop idol supermarket music days. The guests tend to clap over the outtros like a real audience does so I leave that on until the music stops.
Songs were recorded on Cassette at various locations with different Tuners and Decks so there is variation of quality but I think all are perfectly listenable. I`ve timed this to fit on a single disc.
All songs BBC Studios London.
Ned Sherrin R.I.P.
If anyone knows of any Loose Ends recording that has ever had an official release, please let me know.
Enjoy.
