Tapers Notes:

This was a fund raiser for the Country Music Hall of Fame with what Vince Gill called a Guitar Ladder
format, where one person does a song and passes the guitar to the next person who does another song.

This show features Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris, Jason Mraz, Ann and Nancy Wilson (from Heart). This
is just simple guitar and singing, nothing terribly special from a production standpoint. I had a talker
to the right of me and whooper to the left of me and a cougher behind me, so I zero'ed out crown noise
after each song.

What was interesting was the fact that notwithstanding that this was a country music show, Jason Mraz
just stole the show, and after "I'm Yours," he and Emmylou Harris just looked at eachother in complete
disbelief.

"Embarassingly, my first concert tickets I bought and went to without my parents was when Milli Vanilli

"I used to play a country western bar in Los Angeles called Rawhide, and we had to play Stand By Your
Man about 50 times a night." Vince Gill

"We used to play a amateur night where anyone could stand up and sing, and one night we had this hispanic
fellow who said he wanted to play Japicta. We said we didn't know the song, and he said, Ja Picked a
fine time to leave me Lucille." Vince Gill
