Walter "Wolfman" Washington And The Roadmasters at the Lowell Folk Festival, Dutton Street Dance Pavilion, Lowell, MA, July 27, 2019, audience recording.

This was recorded with Zoom H2 with internal mics, on the low mic gain setting. H2 lined into computer by USB, wav sent to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12. Magix program was used for track markings, and after show noise removal. Flac created with Trader's Little Helper, SBE and torrent work also done with TLH.

This came out pretty nice. I arrived about a minute or two late, so the recording starts with me approaching the tent. I'm right in front of the band about a minute and a half later. My only complaint is that I wish the vocals were a little louder, but I suspect that's because the PA speakers weren't as close as the band to where I was standing. Actually - I have one more complaint. There's a guy in the audience who won't shut up. You can hear him throughout this set, and the next one. He's not talking to anybody, except the people on stage, who were kinda busy at the moment. There are a few other instances of chatty people - why would you choose to have a conversation directly in front of the performing performers? Anyway, the set cooks! I apologize for not knowing the song titles - any help would be appreciated. I included lots of cell-phone photos. More folk fest sets to come!
