notes:
-from my archives, this one was recorded by Crystal on a Sony D6 I believe - he had a few sets of mics so not sure which ones. This is a 1st generation copy
off his master. Much better quality than Wes' recordings. This has a nice full sound - give it an "A-" for sure.
-besides Wayne on keys not sure who personnel are since this band went through several line up changes & there's no band intros on the recorded material.
It's possible Bill Frisell is guitarist as his band opened up this show/split the bill with their own 45 minute set, but it sounds more like Stew Cutler
to me. Sounds like Doug Weiselman on sax too but just can't be sure. There were about 5 different bassists so not sure there. Not sure who drummer is,
maybe Bobby Previte. If anyone can help with line up, let me know.
-this is 1 hot interesting set - lots of different styles, rhythms, etc - tunes are short & composed. Reason it isn't longer was there early & late shows
and it was a double bill. Can't seed Bill for obvious reasons.
-mastered and seeded by matt23.
