Apparently an FM recording/capture.

Original Source: Trade CD-R>EAC>FLAC

Now: flac>xACT>WAV>ProToolsLE>WAV>xACT>flac

The original source had numerous problems, for me anyway.
What must be a chunk of the show is missing, can't do anything
about that.

Then there are numerous cuts in the music.
'Dream Clock' is missing a bit.
'A Remark You Made' is missing the first few minutes.
And the last two songs 'Rockin' and 'Birdland' both have cuts.
And track 4, Jaco's bass solo is missing the beginning and the end.

Some of this is probably from the taper missing parts or maybe
even just really bad editing for the FM broadcast. Who knows?
And the applause seems just tacked on and not natural at all
and sounds quite distant to boot.
And the unatural tacked on applause is also interrupted by sbe gaps on
the original.

So now after my work even more is missing!!
Where there were cuts during songs I've edited them based on musical
phrasing and on the beat. I can't find them now while listening,
I have to line them up next to the originals and look at the waveforms
to see what I did.

The bass solo now flows in and out of the songs on either side
like it was meant to be that way.

If having every available note is important to you, the listeners,
then you need to stick with the original.

I also did some eq work on all of this. Not much.
The only remaining problem that I didn't address completely is,
during 'Brown Street' I guess we're hearing FM reception problems that
have the high end missing somewhat at the beginning of the track.
You don't really notice it until it suddenly comes back.
Then the high end fluctuates in and out for a minute or two.
And it's kind of phasey, let's just pretend it was meant to be that way.
