I have to admit, as much as a I love Al's big production regular shows, the two "Vanity Tour" shows I've seen him do have been
my favorites. It's great just seeing musicians who have serious skills play silly music without any frills, and Al's catalog
of originals easily rivals the parodies he's more known for. This set was a great mix of stuff from throughout his career,
though surprisingly lacking anything from Mandatory Fun or Running With Scissors, which happen to be my 2 favorite albums. I
was really hoping to hear "My Baby's In Love With Eddie Vedder," but oh well. I can't really complain, especially considering
we got a ridiculously long, drawn-out version of "Craigslist" that seemed like it would never end (but in a good way).
Another interesting bit was that he actually "updated" the cover of "867-5309" to what Al claims is Jenny's new number,
520-4189. I haven't figured out if there's any significance to that number, and a quick Google search gives me no leads.

The Gaillard Center typically holds orchestral performances and the like, so it's got great acoustics, which means this
recording came out sounding really good. Easily one of the best concert recordings I've been able to get.
