Notes:
* What can I say, this show wasn't so much White Hills playing support for Telekinetic Yeti this night, as much as being co-headliners with them. Absolutely incredible performance, spine chilling, this is why I go out to clubs, nights like this make all the not so great shows all worth it. This performance definitely bumped White Hills into a small set of bands I will never miss when they come to town.

* Songkick: https://www.songkick.com/artists/266995-white-hills
* Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Hills_(band)
"White Hills is an American psychedelic rock band that was formed in 2003 in New York City. Founding members Dave W. (guitar & vocals) and Ego Sensation (bass & vocals) have been the only constant members.
They are known for being one of the most prolific bands of their generation, recording over 40 separate releases including 7 full-length studio albums. Their music strikes “a riveting balance between heaviness and ethereality”[1] combining elements of krautrock, post-punk, art rock, goth, psychedelic rock, metal, stoner rock, ambient and experimental music. They are often compared to Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Pink Floyd, Hawkwind, MC5 and Spiritualized."

* "Hailed by Pitchfork for their “loud, exhilarating and unhinged” live performances, NYC’s White Hills have garnered a cult reputation as a fierce, genre-bending band. The music made by core members Dave W. and Ego Sensation is risky and cutting edge, rooted in punk ethos and no-wave aesthetics. Their last album, Splintered Metal Sky, was hailed by The Quietus as the Best Psych Rock of 2020. The band will be releasing a new album in Fall 2022. White Hills appear as themselves in Jim Jarmusch’s vampire romance Only Lovers Left Alive."

* About Bottom of the Hill (1233 17th Street (17th @ Missouri), San Francisco, CA):
* Website: http://www.bottomofthehill.com/info.html
"Chosen by Rolling Stone magazine (RS 813) as "the best place to hear live music in San Francisco," the Bottom of the Hill presents some of the finest original artists, seven nights a week. Featuring up and coming acts from around the globe as well as in our own backyard, the music spans the spectrum from alternative, rock-a-billy, punk, and hard rock, to folk and funk and pop. The Bottom comes fully-equipped. It offers a full bar, a kitchen that stays open late and a patio area where guests can escape the crowd and have a smoke."

* The club has a solid sound system, and has a good calendar, worth tracking them for the next great show. Very 'rock club', in the good sense of the word, informal, comfortable vibe, a place to go to see music and have a good night. Support these independent venues, they are the lifeblood of living underground music.

* Includes show poster and photos.
