comments:
before the days of digital, this recording never got listened to. It had
way too many issues and problems, a bad mike connection being among them,
and several parts missing completely. I didn't know if this was even salvagable,
but it is one of the last shows of the "it's hard" tour (the show from 6 days
later in Toronto was broadcast on a pay-TV channel, and later officially released
on CD and DVD.) and I've managed to get most of it to sound pretty listenable.
the 1st two songs are missing but other than some connection problems, most of
"dangerous" sounds pretty normal. the next 3 songs sound all right (so do the kids)
but part of behind blue eyes is missing and so is all of Baba O'Riley before it cuts
back in soon after Dr. Jimmy starts. there aren't any problems of note in the recording
after that, just another missing section after love reign over me cuts.
the three encores appear to be complete in here. It's not a great recording, but it
sounds alot better than I remembered when first hearing. some individual loud clap
reduction was done to the loudest claps to make it a little more pleasant listen.
