The Who
"Tommy"
Radio City Music Hall
New York,NY
USA
June 27,1989

Note to Mods: After much exhaustive research, contacting every wholigan, whofile and whophanatic I could find, watching the "Tommy" LA Show on a VHS Tape I borrowed and comparing the tracks on it with the tracks on The Who's official release "Join Together" and the tracks on my cassette of Radio City I have come up with a definitive list of exactly what tracks on this torrent are on "Join Togeter" which got it banned in the first place and therefore have deleted them as per Dime Poilicy.

The following tracks featuring "Special Guests" from the LA Show were substituted with tracks from the Radio City Music Hall Show:

Eyesight to the Blind ... Steve Winwood
Cousin Kevin ... Billy Idol
The Acid Queen ... Patti LaBelle
Pinball Wizard ... Elton John
Fiddle About ... Phil Collins
Tommy's Holiday Camp ... Phil Collins

For you "Completists" out there who like me want "Everything in it's entirety" you can e mail me at sbrovich@comcast.net or PM me here at Dime and I'm Sure we can work something out!!!

To anyone who downloaded the "Fixed Version" of this torrent with the "Tommy" portion deleted there is no need to redownload Disc II from this Torrent as its the same on this torrent with one minor change..I moved track 05. DJ Chatter After Tommy Pt 2 from the end of Disc I and renamed it 01. DJ Chatter and Placed it at the begining of Disc II and then had to renumber the Disc II Tracks..thats the only change to Disc II and you can do that yourself without having to redownload Disc II again,or the "Artwork" Folder which is also the same.

This was a "Westwood One" Radio Broadcast I recorded off-air "LIVE" as it happened over 92.3 WXRK-FM(K-Rock)

The sound quality is VG+ to EX IMHO...some radio crackle or static in some spots...and also we are dealing with a 19 year old Cassette tape thats been played maybe 1000 Times!!!

I have never seen this posted anywhere so hope everyone enjoys it...and if anyone has a better version I'd sure like to have it and I hope you would post it and share...

I understand there is a "Promo" version circulating on Vinyl and CD that is supposedly "Pre-FM" but I have never run across it.

Here are the details for that Version:

The Who

Pre-FM SBD > DAT

Transfer: Panasonic SV-3800 > Monster Coax > Audigy Soundcard >
